Carbon Credits Project Disclosure

Transparency, permanence, accuracy, and additionality are critical pieces in ensuring the quality of a carbon credit. At A-Gas, we're committed to sharing details surrounding our voluntary and compliance carbon credits, all of which can be found on the ACR (formerly American Carbon Registry) website. Projects With Issuance Before 2024

  • Protocol/methodology used: ACR Certified Reclaimed HFC Refrigerants, Propellants, and Fire Suppressants. (Version 2.0, April 2022)

  • Dates and quantities of emissions reductions: 1,855,393 MT CO2e
  • Type of project: Avoidance
  • Meets legal standards or NGO standards: CORSIA
  • The “durability” period if less than atmospheric lifetime: The project results in permanent avoided emissions with a durability period not less than the atmospheric lifetime of carbon dioxide emissions.
  • Independent expert or third‐party validation/verification: SES, Inc.
  • Annual emissions reductions/removal: 1,855,393 MT CO2e
  • Details of “accountability measures” if reversal or shortfalls: The project has no reversal or shortfall risk.
  • The pertinent data and calculation methods needed to independently reproduce and verify the number of emission reduction credits issued using the protocol may be found in Section E of the Project Plan which is publicly available at ACR.
