September 2026 | A-Gas, a world leader in the supply and lifecycle management of clean agent fire suppression gases, is proud to announce the expansion of capabilities at its Philadelphia facility to now include Fire Protection Recharge Operations. The site, which currently houses A-Gas Rapid Recovery® and Rapid Exchange® operations, will now also support the recharge of leaking or discharged clean agent system cylinders, helping customers restore fire suppression systems quickly and minimize downtime.
From Philadelphia, A-Gas will support customers throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions with one-day transit times, including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. This expanded capability strengthens A-Gas’ service coverage across the Atlantic corridor and provides customers in major metro markets with faster access to the fire protection products and services they need.
The Philadelphia fire protection location will recharge leaking or discharged system bottles with a full range of clean agent fire suppressants used in critical applications. All clean agent fire suppressants sold by A-Gas either meet or exceed industry standards and come with ISO 9001:2015-backed Certificates of Analysis, helping ensure the quality of the material.

As with other A-Gas fire protection operations, the Greater Philadelphia area facility will stock an extensive inventory of empty system cylinders of multiple brands and sizes for customer use under the Simple Swap program. With Simple Swap, A-Gas assists customers facing time-sensitive requirements, including emergency recharges, by swapping in like hardware for the end-user’s original units. After the swap-in unit is delivered, A-Gas arranges to pick up the empty or leaking cylinder as a swap-out at no extra charge and credits the customer an agreed-to rate per pound for the recovered agent.
Together, these expanded capabilities strengthen A-Gas’ ability to respond to time-sensitive customer needs while supporting system uptime and service continuity across the region. The addition of Fire Protection Recharge Operations alongside existing Rapid Recovery and Rapid Exchange capabilities creates a more robust regional hub for customers across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
