A-Gas and Toledo Walleye Raise Money for Flag City Honor Flight
A-Gas has been a proud supporter of the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye organizations since 2016. This year, we were honored to support Flag City Honor Flight, an organization dedicated to recognizing Veterans for their service and sacrifice. Together, A-Gas and the Walleye partnered to support Flag City Honor Flight with proceeds from the Walleye’s specialty jersey auction on Margaritaville Night, raising $9,188 this season.
Flag City Honor Flight is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization and a hub of the National Honor Flight Network. The organization helps Veterans from World War II through Vietnam visit the memorials in Washington, D.C., created in honor of their service. Since 2010, Flag City Honor Flight has served Veterans from Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan, and beyond, making these unforgettable trips possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community support.
A-Gas was proud to present a check to this outstanding organization as a result of a recent Charity Jersey auction with the Walleye. We are grateful for the opportunity to support Flag City Honor Flight and the important work they do to honor America’s heroes.
