Celebrating World Refrigeration Day 2025
Every year on June 26th, global communities celebrate World Refrigeration Day, promoting the people and technologies that enhance the industry and environment.
The theme for 2025 is #CoolSkills, recognizing the wide range of expertise required to deliver innovative cooling and heating solutions. The theme has enabled businesses globally to showcase how talented professionals are advancing energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and supporting climate goals.
At A-Gas, we proudly sponsor World Refrigeration Day annually and are pleased to support its goals. As a market-leading lifecycle refrigerant management (LRM) business, we recover, reclaim, and repurpose (or, where no future reuse is possible, safely destroy) legacy refrigerants, supporting a diverse range of customers and industries.

In the US, we're proud to showcase Bubba King's cool skills. Bubba is a Field Service Manager for our Rapid Recovery service in Nashville. Since joining A-Gas in 2017, he has played a vital role in recovering refrigerant and training other technicians across the globe. He provides customers with an effective and responsible management solution.
Here are the key skills that define Bubba’s role:
🧠 Passing On Knowledge – Years of experience in the industry and hands-on experience mean Bubba can relay his knowledge and expertise every day, ensuring that his team members are fully trained in safe and efficient refrigerant recovery.
🤝 Supporting Diverse Industries – Bubba works with local contractors, demolition companies, grocery stores and many other businesses to ensure that their refrigerants are captured for reclamation or safe destruction.
🌎 Reducing Potential Emissions – Recovering used gas helps to prevent its release into the atmosphere, minimising potential emissions and protecting the environment. By putting reclaimed refrigerant back into the market, Bubba and his team extend the products’ lifetimes and help customers maintain their equipment.
