It is Earth Day 2026!
Every year on 22nd April, the world comes together to celebrate Earth Day, a global event that is recognised in over 190 countries with over 150,000 partners.
Earth Day is about action, not aspiration. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet”, continues the work from Earth Day 2025, calling on communities worldwide to take action to support clean air, clean water, clean energy, protected natural resources, and climate stability.
At A-Gas, our power comes from our recovery, reclamation, and repurposing processes. For over 30 years, we have been capturing refrigerant gas for future re-use or safe destruction, which is one of the fastest ways to reduce climate impact. Keeping gases within the circular economy via our lifecycle refrigerant management (LRM) approach protects the planet from harmful emissions.
By keeping gases out of the atmosphere, we support a more sustainable cooling future, not just on Earth Day, but every day of the year. What happens on a service call, site visit or recovery makes a difference to the planet.
