A-Gas Americas Buys Refrigerant Reclamation business
A‑Gas Americas has bought Refri-Claim®, the reclamation division of ICOR International. Refri-Claim, a certified Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant reclaimer, has a network of distributor-based exchange centres across the USA which provide an over-the-counter refrigerant cylinder exchange service for customers.
A‑Gas Americas Chief Executive Monte Roach said: “This acquisition is a part of our core strategy of managing the complete lifecycle of refrigerants for our customers. It will allow A‑Gas to broaden its footprint and enhance its services’ offering to our wholesale partners, their contractors, end-users and other customers.”
A‑Gas will take over the existing Refri-Claim customer base. All refrigerant cylinder stock, reclamation and refurbishment equipment will be transferred to A-Gas where it be will relocated to its operation in Magnolia, Texas.
The Refri-Claim over-the-counter cylinder exchange programme provides customers with back-up refrigerant cylinders, helps with repairs and handles the paperwork associated with recertification.
