Cool Talks Breakfast Briefing with A-Gas and IOR focuses on industry hot topics
The Institute of Refrigeration in conjunction with A-Gas is hosting a FREE breakfast briefing on key issues facing service engineers and technicians. The Cool Talks Breakfast Briefing on Thursday May 19 will feature the latest developments in low GWP refrigerants, tips on how to handle glide efficiency and handy advice on preventing compressor failure.
Industry experts will be there to answer your questions on these important topics. Speaking at the briefing, and to offer expert advice, will be A-Gas Managing Director John Ormerod, Gordon Adams from the IOR Service Engineers Section and the “Compressor Doctor”, Bitzer UK Managing Director and IOR Council member Kevin Glass.
John Ormerod said: “The F-Gas Regulations are changing how we work in the industry and the introduction of low GWP refrigerants are at the heart of this. Our breakfast briefing will cover issues arising from these developments and provide an opportunity to answer your key questions. For example, what is different about HFO refrigerants? What does glide efficiency mean in practice and how does this relate to prevent compressor failure? We are also inviting our guests to raise other industry issues which they may like us to cover at future breakfast events.”
Admission is FREE and the doors open at 8.30am with coffee or tea and bacon rolls available on arrival. The packed programme continues until 11am when there will be a further opportunity for networking over tea and coffee before the event closes.
The Cool Talks Breakfast Briefing is hosted by A-Gas at its headquarters in Portbury near Bristol. A-Gas is easy to find – close to the M4 and M5 motorways. On-site parking is available and there is ample on-road parking nearby.
