Malta Ratifies the Kigali Amendment
Malta has become the 172nd country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, a global agreement aimed at gradually phasing down the use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
This step commits Malta to an over 80% reduction in HFC production and consumption by 2045.
