Georgia Ratifies the Kigali Amendment
Georgia has ratified the Kigali Amendment, making them the 151st country to ratify the Amendment.
Countries that sign the Kigali Amendment agree to phasedown the consumption and production of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
It is hoped that the global implementation of the Kigali Amendment worldwide is estimated to prevent 80 billion tonnes equivalent emissions by 2050.
