Central African Republic Ratifies the Kigali Amendment

The Central African Republic has now joined the list of nations that have formally ratified the Kigali Amendment, which aims to gradually phase down the use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

The Central African Republic is the 168th country to ratify the Kigali Amendment. To view the full list of countries that have ratified the Amendment, click here.

By taking this step, the country has committed to reducing the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next three decades, supporting global efforts to combat climate change and protect the ozone layer.
