Azerbaijan Ratifies the Kigali Amendment
Azerbaijan has ratified the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, a global agreement aimed at gradually phasing down the use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
Through this measure, Azerbaijan pledges to reduce the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% by 2045. Azerbaijan now becomes the 171st country to ratify, accept, or approve the Kigali Amendment.
