A-Gas (New Zealand) Rapid Exchange Promotion Receive a $250 VISA Gift Card  

Terms and Conditions 

Promoter 

A-Gas (New Zealand) Limited (NZBN 9429047008885), 68 Rangi Road, Takanini, Auckland 2105 (A-Gas). 

Promotion Period 

The Promotion (the Promotion) commences from 12:01am (NZDT) on 23rd May 2024 to 11:59pm (NZDT) on 12th July 2024 (Promotion Period). 

A-Gas reserves the right to change or end this Promotion without notice at any time and for any reason in its absolute discretion. 

Who can participate? 

Participation in the Promotion is open to any New Zealand business (Participating Business) who: 

  1. holds a current New Zealand Business Number (NZBN); 
  2. does not hold a current A-Gas (New Zealand) customer account; 
  3. is not a government-entity or similar public-sector business; 
  4. is otherwise eligible to participate, as determined by A-Gas in its reasonable discretion. 

Participation in this Promotion is subject to: 

  1. the A-Gas Rapid Exchange Terms and Conditions, available here, as amended from time to time; 

Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

Who can't participate? 

Participation in the Promotion is not open to employees (and their immediate families) of: 

  1. A-Gas (New Zealand) Limited; 
  2. the suppliers, agencies or companies associated with this Promotion. 

A-Gas Rapid Exchange Customer Application 

During the Promotion Period, an authorised representative of a Participating Business aged 18 years or over must apply on behalf of the Participating Business to become an A-Gas Rapid Exchange business customer by fully completing and submitting an A-Gas Rapid Exchange application online at https://www.agas.com/nz/signup/ or a hardcopy form is available to download from https://www.agas.com/media/qufl0x2d/nz-rapid-exchange-registration-form-web.pdf (A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application). A hardcopy or electronic copy can be requested by calling A-Gas Customer Service on 0800 992 427 (freecall) or emailing customerservice.nz@agas.com.  

A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application must be received and approved during the Promotion Period, as determined by A-Gas. A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application will be subject to approval by A-Gas in accordance with the A-Gas Rapid Exchange Terms and Conditions. A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application must satisfy the full information disclosure requirements as stated on the A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application form, in order to be eligible. Processing of A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application may take up to two to five (2-5) business days from the date of submission in some cases, subject to full information disclosure. If a Participating Business is not approved to become an A-Gas Rapid Exchange business customer by A-Gas, the Participating Business will be ineligible to participate in this Promotion. 

Transactions that are delayed due to system outages at A-Gas sites, that are reversed, or that are found or suspected by A-Gas as being fraudulent, will not be eligible for the Promotion. 

Prizes ($250 NZD VISA gift card) 

Participating Businesses that qualify for the Promotion will be entitled to receive the following (Prizes): 

  1. 1 x $250 NZD pre-paid VISA Gift Card 

To qualify for the Promotion, a Participating Business must: 

successfully apply for, and be approved to open, an A-Gas Rapid Exchange account during the Promotion Period; and book the collection of a minimum of one (1) refrigerant reclaim cylinder containing used refrigerant gas above 50% full within the Promotion Period. 

The collection of full reclaim cylinders can be booked online here, by calling A-Gas Customer Service on 0800 992 427 (freecall) or emailing customerservice.nz@agas.com. 

As part of the Promotion, A-Gas we will transfer gas from Participating Business’ cylinders to A-Gas reclaim cylinders at no cost. 

Prizes will be delivered to Participating Business within ten (10) business days from the date upon which the A-Gas Rapid Exchange Application is approved, the account is opened and the collection of the first full refrigerant reclaim cylinder has been confirmed by A-Gas. Prizes are available until stocks run out. 

 

  1. For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, "participants" is deemed to apply equally to a Participating Business and to the authorised representative of the Participating Business. 
  2. These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information on how to participate and receive prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, Participating Businesses accept these Terms and Conditions.  
  3. Participants must not: 
  4. tamper with the participation process; 
  5. engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion; 
  6. act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner; 
  7. do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of A-Gas or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion; 
  8. breach any law; or 
  9. behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate. 
  10. A-Gas is not liable for claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted. 
  11. Prizes awarded under this Promotion are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.  
  12. A-Gas’ decision in connection with all aspects of this Promotion is final. 
  13. If this Promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond A-Gas’ control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, A-Gas may end, change, suspend or cancel the Promotion. 
  14. A-Gas and the agencies and companies associated with this Promotion are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death suffered in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law). 
  15. A-Gas accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from this Promotion. Participants should seek independent financial advice.  
  16. The warranty for any products awarded as prizes in the Promotion is subject to the New Zealand consumer law and product manufacturer’s warranty. Participants should look to the manufacturer of the products for all warranties. 
  17. Any gift cards awarded as prizes in the Promotion will be subject to issuer’s terms of use and are limited to the amount on the face of the gift card. Gift cards are valid until the gift card expiry date stated on it. A-Gas is not liable for and will not provide any replacement gift cards if the gift cards are stolen, forged, damaged, or tampered with any way once awarded or are not activated or used before the stated expiry date. 
  18. A-Gas collects, uses and stores personal information about participants/Participating Businesses in accordance with the A-Gas Privacy Policy
