Recognising Mental Health Awareness Week 2025

This week (12th-18th May) is Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK, run annually by the Mental Health Foundation.

Since 2001, Mental Health Awareness Week has aimed to increase awareness of and remove the stigma around issues sometimes associated with mental health, encouraging individuals to prioritise wellbeing, both for themselves and others.

The theme for 2025 is “Community”, highlighting and celebrating the importance of positive support networks, and emphasising how strong communities can give people and sense of purpose and remind them that they do not have to suffer alone.

At A-Gas, our commitment to safety means that we take mental wellbeing seriously and support employees in their everyday challenges.

The power of communities should not be underestimated when it comes to finding effective support. You can find more resources, initiatives and ways to get involved via the event page.
