On the 18th April, leading HVAC-R industry journal, ACR News, hosted its annual awards ceremony. We are thrilled to say that this year, A-Gas are the proud winners of the Community Award for our "30 Hours for 30 Years" initiative!
Taking place as part of our 30th Anniversary celebrations in 2023, "30 Hours for 30 Years" saw us partner with the local community group Turn the Tide to carry out 30 hours of beach cleaning and litter picking around our company headquarters in Portishead, UK.
Covering the town's beaches, streets and nature reserves, the teams from A-Gas' Portishead and Portbury locations managed to fill 37 bags of waste. This made the area both nicer for the local community and met with the company's vision to protect and enhance the environment.
