A-Gas is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Steve Izquierdo as Group Director, People & Culture, of the A-Gas Group.
Steve is responsible for developing and executing a people and culture strategy that enables and supports the overall business strategy and one which attracts, develops, recognises and retains talent at A-Gas.
Steve is driven by, and passionate about, helping individuals reach their full potential and sees A-Gas as a great opportunity to do that with the growth ambitions of the organisation, presenting tremendous learning and development opportunities for all of our colleagues. Additionally, Steve strongly affiliates with A-Gas’ values which sees the global team working together with a strong sense of purpose, passionate about our customers and the planet.

Steve has over 25 years’ experience working in HR across various industry sectors and geographies, having previously held positions at Cargill, BP, and PepsiCo. At Pepsico, Steve progressed to become UK HR Vice President in 2012 and a member of the UK Executive Team, then becoming the Senior VP for HR Core Services Europe in 2015. In 2018, he joined the FTSE 250 company Ultra Electronics as their Chief HR Operating Officer where he delivered an extensive people focused agenda.

Steve graduated from Loughborough University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds an advanced qualification in Personnel Development.
