World Mental Health Day 2021

October 10th is World Mental Health Day, an annual event to raise awareness and enhance understanding of the various mental health issues and experiences that can affect anyone at any time.

This year’s World Mental Health Day theme is ‘Mental Health in an Unequal World.’ Which focuses on the issues that perpetuate mental health inequality locally and globally and explores the implications of the Coronavirus. This year’s World Mental Health Day campaign provides an opportunity for us to come together and act together to highlight how inequality can be addressed to ensure people are able to enjoy good mental health.

2020 and the Coronavirus Pandemic highlighted the inequalities in our world and these inequalities can have an impact on people’s mental health. World Mental Health Day gives us the opportunity to reflect on mental health issues and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

Mental health is something that affects everybody, and it is incredibly important that we all take the time to take care of our mental health in the same way that we would take care of our physical health.

Here at A-Gas we want to take the time to support our colleagues and ensure that every one of us takes the time to do something for themselves and their own mental health on this year’s World Mental Health Day.
