R407F is an HFC blend that is suitable for use in both low and medium temperature refrigeration applications such as industrial & commercial refrigeration. It can be used to retrofit some existing R404A systems and is a good choice for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint as it has a much lower GWP. R407F could also be used as an R22 replacement in some applications—but you need to make sure the system is completely evacuated, and the oil is replaced (don’t mix refrigerants!).
