A-Gas Rapid Recovery Team Assists Toyota with the Road to Recovery

Following devastating floods in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Toyota, one of A-Gas South Africa’s automotive customers suffered massive damage to its plant and inventory. Not wanting to compromise on their quality with damaged goods, Toyota took the decision to scrap 4500 vehicles that had been affected by the flood damage.

A-Gas offered its onsite Rapid Recovery service to recover refrigerant from damaged vehicles. This efficient and effective service prevented the release of approximately 1969 tons of CO₂-equivalent from being released into the atmosphere.
