A-Gas operates as a specialist blender, re-packer and distributor of speciality gases and chemicals, in particular environmentally acceptable chloro-fluoro-carbon (CFC) replacement products. These substitutes are used primarily as refrigerants, as blowing agents in the anufacture of foam insulation, as speciality aerosol propellants and as cleaning solvents in high-tech applications.

A-Gas also markets and distributes a range of fluorinated speciality chemicals for a variety of industrial applications. A-Gas trading division Pharmachem offers a range of fluorinated Pharmaceutical and Agrochemical intermediates together with pharmaceutical grade aerosol propellants for use in Metered Dose Inhalers.
