Refrigerants

A-Gas is a one-Stop shop for all refrigerant applications. We offer interim HCFC and long-term HFC refrigerants as well as non-fluorinated refrigerants such as ammonia, hydrocarbons and Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

Heat transfer fluids

A-Gas distributes the Freezuium and Zitrec range of heat transfer fluids in the UK.
This range of fully inhibited heat transfer fluids is based on glycol and or potassium salt technology to cover temperature rages from 0c to -60c, and offers the industry leading corrosion protection package based on Organic Acid Technology.

Special USP/EP grades of glycol for food applications are available and only fully approved FDA ingredients are used in the manufacture of Zitrec FC.

Oxygen Free Nitrogen (OFN) is also available from A-Gas for use in refrigeration servicing. We offer a full rang of HFC refrigerants which play a leading role in helping user industries meet the challenge of moving to new technologies and environmental regulations. Our cylinders are all rated for the new, higher pressure HFC blends and incorporate the latest  valve technology.

Insulation agents

A-Gas is a major supplier of blowing agents used in the manufacture of high quality insulation foams for the construction industry, The use of these foams helps both builders and specifiers meet the increasingly stringent energy efficiency and safety standards demanded by constructors, planning authorities and insurers. Using our sophisticated, computerised blending facilities enables us to supply blowing agents developed to customers' exact technical requirements.

A-Gas offers HCFCs in countries where use is still permitted under current regulations, and zero ozone depleting HFCs (such as 365mfc) as long-term replacements in specific applications. We support this with a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to manage the changeover process with customers.

A-Gas UK supply bulk loads of cyclo / iso and n pentane mixtures as well as specialist blends with various HFC’s for the insulation industry.

Our strategic relationship with Solvay Fluor puts us in a unique position to help customers develop foam products using the latest technology.

Environmental Services

A-Gas UK is one of only three UK companies licensed to provide refrigerant recovery and reclamation services. Product is recovered from decommissioned and serviced plants and is recycled where possible fore resale.

The AU business has recently entered the environmental services business with the introduction to their cylinder fleet of reclaim and recovery cylinders. A-Gas AU then safetly decants to a bulk storage tank utilising specially designed closed-loop equipment fulfilling our objective of zero emmissions. This product is then returned to Refrigerant Reclaim Australia for destruction.

This enables customers to easily fulfil their legislative and regualtory obligations.
