A-Gas business overview
Headquartered in the UK, A-Gas International Holdings Limited (“A-Gas” or “Group” or “Company”) is the leading independent global specialist blender, re-packer and distributor of speciality gases and chemicals to the refrigeration and insulation foam industries, primarily focusing on environmentally acceptable replacement products for chlorofluorocarbon (“CFC”) gases and liquids. Its primary products are:
* Refrigerants: used for heat exchange in air-conditioning and chilling applications;
* Blowing agents: used in the manufacture of insulating foams for the construction industry;
* Solvents: used in the manufacturing process to de dust, oil or residue removal etc
In addition, A-Gas also provides environmental services to the refrigeration industry, such as recovery and reclamation of environmentally sensitive products, and distributes a number of other speciality packaged products such as propellants, solvents and niche industrial gases.
A-Gas is market leader in its core markets in the UK, Australia (“AU”) and South Africa (“SA”), with modern state of the art storage, blending and packaging facilities in Bristol, Melbourne and Cape Town. A-Gas is also rapidly growing market share in the Americas and Asia/China.

We continually invest a significant proportion of our profits in developing and maintaining facilities of the highest quality and standards. All our major trading subsidiaries around the world are purpose built, highly sophisticated and engineered to take advantage of the latest technological advances such as state of the art laboratories, these allow us to maintain the highest product standards & product testing opportunities for our customers, high quality long-life storage facilities with 1,450 tonnes capacity, allowing us to manage local as well as international inventories and consistently meet customers' requirements in full on a 'just in time' basis, even during times of international shortage, filling/blending plants that help us to maintain our competitive edge and provide significant added value to our customers, returnable cylinder fleet of 225,000 and associated customized automated filling plant, our own proprietary cylinder tracking system, "Cyltrak", which enables us to track each and every one of our cylinders throughout the filling process and supply chain, ensuring product integrity and providing value enhancing data and trends to our customers. All of these items contribute to provide significant barriers to entry in core markets/territories with opportunities for further leverage into adjacent product markets.
